We are seeking a Senior Account Director for EMEA who is both a strategic thinker and a practical leader. We are looking for a specialist in growing and expanding existing accounts who can manage and lead effectively. As a key member of the CSE team, you will contribute to crafting our strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders internally to ensure consistent customer growth and expansion. The ideal candidate should be committed to cultivating existing relationships, identifying issues, implementing solutions, and enhancing relationships. Success in this role requires experience and a proven track record in driving high growth within an existing customer base. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

  • Own the entire relationship with assigned customers, including operational, tactical and strategic leadership.
  • Build and execute account plans to deliver growth and expansion.
  • Establish and grow relationships as a trusted and strategic advisor to help ensure the continued value of our products and services driving growth and expansion.
  • Understand customers business objectives, challenges, and market dynamics to provide strategic guidance and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain customer-success strategies and best practices, as well as customer-support content, with help from the creative team.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior managers and stakeholders to better understand customer needs, maximize retention, growth and expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport to secure renewals, while identifying areas of growth and expansion.
  • Understand the customer journey, determine how it’s supported, and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues to drive growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate, problem-solve, and/or strategize with team members on upcoming client meetings.
  • Understand key performance indicators for the customers, work with them to drive growth and expansion.
  • Work with the marketing team to boost customer referrals and develop case studies.
  • Build and execute account plans, including keeping internal systems like Hubspot up to date with growth and expansion opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five to seven years of experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer success.
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communications, strategic planning, and account management.
  • Analytical and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities.
  • Proficiency in English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Hubspot and project management tools
  • Proficiency in spoken languages: Spanish and Swedish. Nice to have but not required.
