JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Executive will report directly to VP Global Channels and New Sales. This role involves maximizing revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account management. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving business opportunities forward.
The ideal candidate will be Istanbul-based and a Turkish national and the role requires experience and network with largest Turkish B2C corporations on the BIST Index and full understanding of Turkish business culture.
We need a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the AI and SaaS markets, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective account management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to the VP New Sales and Partners EMEA, and be responsible for maximizing/increasing revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account management.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers and prospects, and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Lead meetings, presentations and communications with your customers and prospects.
- Develop and execute sales/account plans to penetrate direct business opportunities and capture significant market share.
- Drive business opportunities forward in alignment with our value-based sales methodology.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Be creative in your approach to connecting with prospects, communicating our value proposition and expanding our presence across our customers’ lines of business.
- Execute against the sales/account plans, lead contract negotiations to consistently deliver on quarterly and annual quotas.
- Work with the New Business and Channels department to drive the sales strategy and business expansion.
- Keep the corporate CRM system up to date with an accurate reflection of activities and opportunities.
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasts and pipeline reports to management.
- Keep HQ up to date with all financial reporting, legal contracts, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Location & Eligibility
- Istanbul based and Turkish national.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong understanding of the Turkish market and its dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in strategic account management, preferably within the AI / SaaS industry is essential.
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Be familiar with a solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process, and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities.
Must Haves: Sales & Industry Experience
- Full understanding of Turkish business culture and communication styles.
- Experienced selling AI at C-Level (heads of contact centers, customer services, customer experience, and operations) to high call volume B2C Contact Centre customers in Türkiye.
- Own network of large-scale B2C Contact Centre customers, Contact Centre providers, and local integration partners in Türkiye.
- Proven Contact Centre Sales experience essential.
Account & Sales Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the allocated territory with a target prospect list and a regional sales plan.
- Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
- Be the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Application Services (AS) solution within the marketplace.
- Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
- Sales process management and opportunity closure.
- Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
Personal Attributes
- Self-starter and strong at working as part of a remote team.
We are a great match if you have/are
- 5-10+ years of full-cycle sales experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the mid-market.
- Experience hitting a quota of $1m+ of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) per year and experience averaging 8+ meetings per week.
- A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
- Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
- Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills in English language.
SALARY RANGE:
Attractive and competitive, reflecting skills and experience. Sales commission rates are very attractive and can double salary.
