Importing and exporting
Import/Export when no solution is open
Before opening any solution, the Teneo Studio user can import solutions into Teneo Studio from the Import/Export tab. Simply click the Import Solution button, select the file to import and wait until the process is completed.
It is also possible to import lexical resources by clicking the Import Lexical Resource button. Imported lexical resources will be available to all solutions within the current customer.
Import/Export when a solution is open
When a user has a solution open, different options to import and export are available depending on the Teneo Studio user permissions. The available options can (as above) be found in the Import/Export tab in the backstage of Teneo Studio (Solution tab > Import/Export).
- Import Solution
When importing a solution using this option, the solution is added to the current customer.
If instead the currently open solution should be merged with one that was previously exported to a file, then the user should rather Import additional content from file to the solution. Learn here how to do this. - Import Resources
This option allows the Studio user to import a lexical resource. When a lexical resource is imported, it will be available to all solutions within the current customer. This does not mean, however, that all the solutions will actually be using that lexical resource, but rather that the users have the option to use the imported resource in a solution. To exercise the option, the resource needs to be linked to the solution first, check this section to see how that is done. - Export (language) config
This option allows to export the current input processor configuration as a zip file to the PC. - Export
The Export option allows the user to backup a solution in its current stage as a file which can be imported at a later stage if needed.
The Export option can also export the language objects and entities in the current solution into a lexical resource file, which can later be imported as a lexical resource. This is particularly useful if wanting to create lexical resource files.
